EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Jack Tsang FRAS leads the Foundation’s Executive Team, providing oversight of its Programmes and Operations groups. Representing the family’s fourth generation, he contributes to the stewardship of its built legacy through global partnerships with institutions such as RIBA.

He read Laws at the University of Nottingham and holds a Master of Laws from the Australian National University. He trained as an English Solicitor at the international law firm Simmons & Simmons and subsequently practised in M&A at the distinguished London firm Slaughter and May; and later at Private Equity law firm, SJ Berwin in London.

Mr. Tsang is Founding Partner and Chair of Corporate & Tech (Asia) at the Hong Kong office of a US law firm where he advises on M&A and tech for corporate and sovereign wealth clients.

Beyond the law, Mr. Tsang is committed to public understanding of East Asian history, with a focus on architectural legacy. In recognition of these contributions, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland. He has also undertaken further training in heritage conservation through programmes organised by Historic England. He is a member of the Oriental Club in London.
