EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Jack Tsang FRAS leads the Foundation’s Executive Team, providing oversight of its Programmes and Operations groups. He represents the family’s next generation and contributes to the stewardship of its legacy in architecture and the built environment through global engagement and institutional partnerships.
He read Laws at the University of Nottingham and holds a Master of Laws from the Australian National University. He trained as an English Solicitor at the international law firm Simmons & Simmons and subsequently practised in M&A at the distinguished London firm Slaughter and May; and later at Private Equity law firm, SJ Berwin in London. He is presently a Founding Partner of the Hong Kong office of a US international law firm where he advises on M&A and Private Equity transactions for corporates, private equity and sovereign wealth fund clients.
Beyond the law, he is committed to public understanding of East Asian history, with a focus on architectural legacy. In recognition of these contributions, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland. He has also undertaken further training in heritage conservation through programmes organised by Historic England. He is a member of the Oriental Club in London.
