FoundING CHAIR

Ms. Peggy Siu is the granddaughter of philanthropist, landowner and early 20th century construction professional, the late Mr. Siu Un; and daughter of post-war urban developer, the late Mr. Siu Kin. She represents the third generation of the Siu clan to contribute to Hong Kong’s architectural landscape.

She began her professional journey at the Mass Transit Railway Corporation (SEHK: 66) where she was involved in the early development of the Island Line, the first line of the system. She subsequently built a successful career in Hong Kong and Australia and has held various senior roles in a number of prominent corporations including VTech Holdings (SEHK: 303) and Centaline Group.

Now retired, Ms. Siu dedicates her time to the clan’s enduring interests: the preservation of East Asian architectural and cultural heritage and supporting initiatives that safeguard urban legacies for future generations.
